Beyondthe material.

A manufacture born from a long standing fascination with chocolate; its character, its complexity and its ability to transform.

Fine couverture is approached as a raw material. Dark, bold and uncompromising, yet inherently sensual.

Texture, bitterness, acidity and depth become a language, a way of exploring contrast, balance and nuances.

Each creation is produced in small batches, shaped with precision and restraint to bring out the depth, complexity and distinctive character of chocolate.

Behind themanufacture.

Chef, founder and artisan. A fine-dining background, expressed through a different medium.

Chef Gregory Czarnecki at Waterkloof, reflected in a window.

French-born chef Gregory Czarnecki developed his culinary foundations in France, where years spent in Michelin-starred kitchens shaped his approach to gastronomy, grounded in classical techniques, precision and a deep respect for ingredients.

His career later brought him to South Africa, where his cuisine became recognised for its precision, thoughtful compositions and balance of flavours.

The manufacture is a continuation of that approach — an exploration of ingredients, contrasting textures and the subtle balance between creativity and restraint, expressed through a longstanding passion for chocolate.
